Aukland day two

Got up quite late for us - almost 9 - and had breakfast, re arranged our luggage so the big cases don't need access much. Called Dave and Annie and arranged collection for a coffee and chat to make contact. Went along to Annies tap dance class and had a rummage round the garage sale in the theatre foyer and a private tour backstage to see their pet project of controlling the props store. Coffee and lunch in Orewa then back to pick up the van and off northwards to find our next site in Whangarei falls. Stopped halfway for tea on the beach at Mangawhei where we had our first real rain since the uk. It is Saturday with a match tonight so rain is to be expected as itnseems to have rained during every match watched before we left home.
Arrived at Whangarei falls campsite thanks to a map in the window of the closed information centre! Nipped back into town for dinner and to watch Wales beat Ireland. Returned to the site to watch England fail to get into'the semis. Again second night in new time zone didn't sleep too well.
