Got up and had the usual McD breakfast - packed and checked out by half nine. Walk to bus stop'ok and bus arrived pretty promptly. Our usual problem with lifts again - chose the wrong one and couldn't get to left luggage - right floor but a roadway in between. Checked it all in eventually and got on a train but it was an express and so pricey, but only train that could get us to connect to the train to Tung Chung and the cable way. Changed trains and retraced our journey to just beside the airport. Up the cableway 20 minutes trip then wandered around the village at the top. Souvenirs and lunch (subway rather than chinese). Walked up to the statue - well Carol opted out and sat at the bottom of the steps. Starting to rain then down the cableway before the rush. Taxi to airport to pick up bags, post postcards and redeem the octopus card. Long wait for flight from 5 to 9. Any way quite a few seats, wifi and plenty of shops and eateries
