In to town to visit the TePuia geothermal park and craft area. Guided walk, another welcoming ceremony and a look at a kiwi hatchery - if you could see anything in the almost total darkness. On to the Pohuto geyser as it was spouting quite merrily and then a meander amongst bubbling mud pools and boiling springs back to the cafe for coffee and muffin.decided to have a look at the shops for awhile, no real bargains though Carol bought herself a couple of pairs of trousers to replace the lost jeans. Lunch of fish and pigs tail chips at the Pig and Whistle pub - one serving and two plates was quite enough for both of us. More window shopping then an unguided cultural walk round the government gardens area, trying two advertised tea shops - both closed so back to the apartment and a catch up on the archers. Rather overcast and cold so the planned bbq isn't going to be followed by eating outside, still it's warmer here than the freezing fogs of London which disrupted Heathrow.
